A staircase succeeds or fails at the front edge of each step. We use matching nosings, either from the manufacturer or custom-made from the same plank when none is available, so the stair edge matches the tread.
Poor adhesion and an unprepared surface cause lifting and squeaks. We secure each tread, use proper adhesive, and level where needed, so the staircase feels as solid as wood. Our lifetime labor warranty covers the installation.

We remove the carpet, pad, and staples first, then judge the treads. Sound wood gets leveled, and damaged treads are replaced.
