Louisville sits near the Tennessee River, and a lot of families here come in from the yard or the water with something damp. Luxury vinyl plank is waterproof from edge to edge, so a tipped bowl or a wet-dog shake does not turn into a repair.
It also holds up to the humidity that swells ordinary wood products. That makes it a steady performer over both crawlspaces and concrete slabs.
Modern plank has convincing grain, texture and wide, long boards. We carry options from Revwood, Mohawk and Bella Flooring Group, and you can see them in person in our Knoxville showroom or in sample form at your house.
Gray-washed oak, warm hickory tones and quiet whites are all common requests. Because the product is made in layers, color stays consistent across the whole room.
Installed luxury vinyl plank generally lands between $4 and $9 per square foot. The spread comes from wear-layer thickness, core type and how much floor prep is required.
Your quote lists materials, labor and any prep line by line, written before we leave. No surprises on the invoice.
Vinyl copies whatever is underneath it, so a dip in an old subfloor shows up as a dip in the plank. We check flatness, patch low spots and deal with loose boards before a single piece clicks together.
In older Blount County houses, that prep step is often the difference between a floor that looks smooth for ten years and one that telegraphs every seam.
Our crew moves furniture, removes the old floor if you want it gone, preps and installs. Most rooms and many whole-house jobs are done in one to three days.
You can walk on it right away, which is a big reason busy families like it. We trim out the transitions and baseboards and leave the space clean.
You are working with the people who will be on your floor, not a call center. Our timelines are usually faster than the big-box stores, and we do not push add-ons you do not need.
Labor carries a lifetime warranty, and financing through Wisetack and Hearth is available on approved credit if you would like a payment plan.

Learn moreThe planks themselves are. Water can still get under at open edges, so proper installation and sealing at walls and wet areas is part of how we do the job.
Sometimes. If the existing surface is flat and solid, we may be able to install over it, but we check first and tell you if removal is the better call.
Plank with an attached pad feels softer and quieter than tile. We can show you the difference in the showroom.
A damp mop and a gentle cleaner is all most households need. We leave you care instructions specific to the product we install.
